An unexpectedly hard shot by Cosimo Brenner in the 36th minute of play forced Ibbtown Digger's goalkeeper Manfred Brand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Timo Gellekum hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Manfred Brand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrick Oliver Stapel in the 46th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The wind increased when Cosimo Brenner made the kick off in the second half. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 72nd minute of the game. One of BVB:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ibbtown Digger:s goal. After a defensive mix-up in Ibbtown Digger's zone, Aydin Jahn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manfred Brand came out of the goal and Aydin Jahn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lajos Bier during the 98th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, BVB's Lajos Bier got a free kick in the 98th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. BVB fully deserved thier win.
