If Nino Doty had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Albert Schwarzer got free with Kristian Stier in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Meral Eichel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Geißler, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After having played for 27 minutes, Steffen Moeskes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vuisham's supporters crossed their fingers, but Steffen Moeskes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Meral Eichel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Geißler in the 31st minute of the match. Kristian Stier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Steffen Moeskes in the 36th minute of the match. Albert Schwarzer in the 38thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Kristian Stier, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With a little luck, FC Berlin's Kristian Stier got control of the ball when Albert Schwarzer tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vuisham's Nino Doty got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Albert Schwarzer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

MVP
Nino Doty

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Albert Schwarzer was the one to do the kick off. Albert Schwarzer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kristian Stier having to interfere. In the 52nd minute Nino Doty shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristian Stier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albert Schwarzer in the 54th minute of play forced FC Berlin's goalkeeper Kristian Stier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Uwe Voltz fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Berlin's protests and gave Uwe Voltz a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Vuisham booed when FC Berlin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Uwe Voltz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kristian Stier was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Kristian Stier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albert Schwarzer in the 89th minute of the match.
