Kornelius Schmorell started the match with the kick off. In the 6th minute, Kornelius Schmorell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. FC Ameisenigel's Kornelius Schmorell came free and shot a quick shot against goal 7 minutes in the game, fortunately Manfred Brand had problems saving as it came toward the left post. With a little luck, Ibbtown Digger's Manfred Brand got control of the ball when Kornelius Schmorell tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kornelius Schmorell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Manfred Brand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kornelius Schmorell could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Manfred Brand made a huge save. Kornelius Schmorell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 21st match minute, Ibbtown Digger was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexander Kossendey to maneuver through the defense. FC Ameisenigel's Kornelius Schmorell came free and shot a quick shot against goal 24 minutes in the game, fortunately Manfred Brand had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Olaf Rummel kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Kornelius Schmorell could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Manfred Brand made a huge save. Manfred Brand made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Kornelius Schmorell sent off a good shot on target. Kornelius Schmorell succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 39th playminute. Peer Schmelzer's late challenge caught a Ibbtown Digger's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Peer Schmelzer helped the player get up and apologised. In the 44th match minute, FC Ameisenigel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peer Schmelzer to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Ibbtown Digger booed when FC Ameisenigel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mladen Lange didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Manfred Brand stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kornelius Schmorell's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kornelius Schmorell in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manfred Brand saved Ibbtown Digger from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christoph Orthaus in the 56th minute of play forced Ibbtown Digger's goalkeeper Manfred Brand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kornelius Schmorell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manfred Brand having to interfere. 60 minutes into the match, Matthias Wildemann notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Ibbtown Digger's Manfred Brand. Manfred Brand was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Kornelius Schmorell's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Manfred Brand was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Kornelius Schmorell took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Manfred Brand. Manfred Brand dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Manfred Brand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christoph Orthaus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kornelius Schmorell blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Manfred Brand having to make a save. Christoph Orthaus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82nd minute of the match Walt Günther shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Manfred Brand showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kornelius Schmorell in the 84th minute of play forced Ibbtown Digger's goalkeeper Manfred Brand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manfred Brand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kornelius Schmorell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ibbtown Digger's Manfred Brand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kornelius Schmorell in the 88th minute of play. If Kornelius Schmorell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kornelius Schmorell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manfred Brand having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FC Ameisenigel fully deserved thier win.
