Spectators: 6604 (Terracing: 5604, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Cosimo Brenner started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute, Cosimo Brenner fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Patrick Oliver Stapel took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Philippe Höfken to make any attempt to save it. Cosimo Brenner got in the 12th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Philippe Höfken handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. BVB's Cosimo Brenner was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 14th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The audience was convinced that Cosimo Brenner's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Philippe Höfken was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. 20 minutes into the match, Fc Sari's goalkeeper Philippe Höfken had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cosimo Brenner. Lajos Bier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. BVB's Michael Elbert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ed Bruder in the 28th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Fc Sari's goal looked a bit too open when Lajos Bier came free, but Philippe Höfken reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute, BVB's Lajos Bier dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. In the 34thth minute of the game Cosimo Brenner who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fc Sari's Philippe Höfken was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 36 played minutes Fc Sari got a freekick which was hit by Klaudius Saak. If Cosimo Brenner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Philippe Höfken stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cosimo Brenner's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. In the last second Philippe Höfken throw himself and got hold of the ball when Cosimo Brenner in the 43rdth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. If Lajos Bier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patrick Oliver Stapel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Philippe Höfken having to interfere. A hard shot by Brian Eschlimann from long distance, 48 minutes into the match, got Philippe Höfken's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The wind increased when Lothar Frisse made the kick off in the second half. When Marcus Ripsam fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fc Sari's protests and gave Marcus Ripsam a yellow card for diving instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cosimo Brenner in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Philippe Höfken saved Fc Sari from getting behind. After having played for 59 minutes, Jonas Schnoor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BVB's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonas Schnoor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lothar Frisse blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Michael Elbert having to make a save. When the match clock showed 68 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Cosimo Brenner sped through Fc Sari's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Philippe Höfken. In the 71st match minute, Fc Sari was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Klaudius Saak to maneuver through the defense. Lajos Bier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Philippe Höfken tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cosimo Brenner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Philippe Höfken having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cosimo Brenner in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Philippe Höfken prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lajos Bier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Fc Sari's zone, Jonas Schnoor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Philippe Höfken came out of the goal and Jonas Schnoor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 86 minutes into the match, Patrick Oliver Stapel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Philippe Höfken. Fc Sari's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Patrick Oliver Stapel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. 90 minutes into the game, Cosimo Brenner cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Philippe Höfken was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 93rd minute, Lajos Bier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oliver Kühnle could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Michael Elbert made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Oliver Kühnle kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Michael Elbert. That made the score 7-1 in the 97 minute of play. BVB's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
