After 9 played minutes Nordhorner FC got a freekick which was hit by Eric Höllen. Phil Strothmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lothar Frisse in the 10th minute of the match. Oliver Kühnle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Phil Strothmann having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kaspar Brunnemer in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Philippe Höfken saved Fc Sari from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gottfried Bronnert in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Philippe Höfken prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lothar Frisse received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Phil Strothmann came out and tried to block the shot, but Lothar Frisse slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 20th minute. If Gottfried Bronnert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th minute, Kaspar Brunnemer made a precise shot to the right of Philippe Höfken. Fc Sari's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Pal Oehrlein fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Phil Strothmann having to interfere. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Fc Sari's goalkeeper Philippe Höfken, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lothar Frisse struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Phil Strothmann didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fc Sari. After 44 minutes, Gottfried Bronnert made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Fc Sari's Philippe Höfken tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half Nordhorner FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Gottfried Bronnert made the kick off in the second half. Oliver Kühnle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 57th minute Gottfried Bronnert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Philippe Höfken saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gottfried Bronnert in the 62nd minute of play forced Fc Sari's goalkeeper Philippe Höfken to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eric Höllen kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Philippe Höfken took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gottfried Bronnert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th minute, Gottfried Bronnert fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Philippe Höfken, passed just outside the right post. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 80 minutes into the match, Fc Sari's goal looked a bit too open when Gottfried Bronnert came free, but Philippe Höfken reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Philippe Höfken made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kaspar Brunnemer in the 81st minute. Nordhorner FC's Kaspar Brunnemer got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Gottfried Bronnert managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nordhorner FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gottfried Bronnert was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Philippe Höfken breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Fc Sari fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Nordhorner FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
