If Rüdiger Gil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fidel Peukert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ryan Germann in the 4th minute of play. Ryan Germann blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fidel Peukert having to make a save. If Stefano Henrich had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Karl Labauve during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 13 played minutes FC Boss Mannheim got a freekick which was hit by Karl Labauve. If Ryan Germann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 20 minutes into the match, Polonia Neu-Ulm's Lucas Rocks sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fidel Peukert narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 29 minutes into the game, Ryan Germann cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Fidel Peukert was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 32 minutes, Lucas Rocks managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Polonia Neu-Ulm's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucas Rocks was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Ryan Germann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stefano Henrich fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fidel Peukert having to interfere. After the first half Polonia Neu-Ulm were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rüdiger Gil to strike the kick off in the second half. Benjamin Huff didn't quite understand what happened when in the 53 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. After having played for 57 minutes, Ingolf Roppel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Polonia Neu-Ulm's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ingolf Roppel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Stefano Henrich succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-2 in the 59th playminute. Polonia Neu-Ulm's Stefano Henrich got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fidel Peukert made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stefano Henrich in the 65th minute. Stefano Henrich received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Fidel Peukert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stefano Henrich recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ryan Germann struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Fidel Peukert didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Polonia Neu-Ulm. In the 72nd minute Stefano Henrich shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fidel Peukert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 75 minutes, Stefano Henrich managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Polonia Neu-Ulm's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stefano Henrich was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Polonia Neu-Ulm getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Addo Hipp hit a great ball. If Rüdiger Gil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fidel Peukert made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Stefano Henrich sent off a good shot on target. In the 82nd minute, Lucas Rocks hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fidel Peukert made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stefano Henrich in the 86th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Ryan Germann managed to get in a good position for a shot. Polonia Neu-Ulm's supporters rose to their feet, but Ryan Germann was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fidel Peukert breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Lucas Rocks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Polonia Neu-Ulm's Stefano Henrich got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Addo Hipp in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fidel Peukert saved FC Boss Mannheim from getting behind. In the 94th match minute, Polonia Neu-Ulm was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stefano Henrich to maneuver through the defense. Burkhard Avenarius kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. FC Boss Mannheim's Fidel Peukert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ryan Germann in the 96th minute of play.
