Spectators: 7519 (Terracing: 5640, Seating: 1729, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Vico Bäz took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arno Melzer in the 5th minute of play forced Stuttgarter Kickers's goalkeeper Radenko Bange to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bruno Gapp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vico Bäz in the 7th minute of the match. Stuttgarter Kickers's Radenko Bange played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arno Melzer in the 8th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Arno Melzer made a precise shot to the right of Radenko Bange. Stuttgarter Kickers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Björn Gondro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radenko Bange having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Arno Melzer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Stephan Pfaff could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Bruno Gapp made a huge save. Karol Bergau kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, SV Blumen Osterfeld's goal looked a bit too open when Vico Bäz came free, but Bruno Gapp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stephan Pfaff took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bruno Gapp. Bruno Gapp dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Arno Melzer managed to get in a good position for a shot. SV Blumen Osterfeld's supporters rose to their feet, but Arno Melzer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Radenko Bange breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arno Melzer to make the kick off. Björn Gondro struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Radenko Bange didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SV Blumen Osterfeld. The crowd rose to their feet as Arno Melzer kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Radenko Bange. That made the score 1-2 in the 55 minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Karol Bergau had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bruno Gapp. SV Blumen Osterfeld's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Karol Bergau was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. 67 minutes into the match, Stuttgarter Kickers's goal looked a bit too open when Arno Melzer came free, but Radenko Bange reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Saul Huff had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arno Melzer in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Radenko Bange saved Stuttgarter Kickers from getting behind. Saul Huff received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Radenko Bange tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arno Melzers short, quick shot in the 77thth minute got Radenko Bange to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Stuttgarter Kickers's zone, Saul Huff stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Radenko Bange came out of the goal and Saul Huff tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Radenko Bange stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arno Melzer's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. In the 80th minute, Gonzalo Reichenbach hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bruno Gapp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karol Bergau, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Arvid Bongartz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radenko Bange having to interfere. Karol Bergau scored 3-2 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bruno Gapp, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 91st minute, Stephan Pfaff hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 93rd minute, Nikolai Zettler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 94 played minutes, Stuttgarter Kickers's Alexander Kovermann shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bruno Gapp came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Stuttgarter Kickers reached it. SV Blumen Osterfeld's Bruno Gapp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stephan Pfaff in the 96th minute of play.
