Arno Melzer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Frederico Kuinke made a huge save. 7 minutes into the match, SV Blumen Osterfeld's goal looked a bit too open when Ewald Harm came free, but Bruno Gapp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bruno Gapp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ewald Harm, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Arno Melzer struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Frederico Kuinke didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SV Blumen Osterfeld. Arno Melzer in the 15thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Frederico Kuinke, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 18 minutes into the match, SV Blumen Osterfeld's goal looked a bit too open when Siegfried Hildebrandt came free, but Bruno Gapp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Schachthalden's zone, Arno Melzer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frederico Kuinke came out of the goal and Arno Melzer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the SV Blumen Osterfeld defense, Irmin Schall kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bruno Gapp. The SV Blumen Osterfeld fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bruno Gapp should have stopped the shot. Bruno Gapp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Irmin Schall in the 33rd minute of play. The throw-in from Nils Steininger in the 35th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by SV Blumen Osterfeld's Saul Huff. The audience was convinced that Arno Melzer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Frederico Kuinke was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. When Saul Huff came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the SV Blumen Osterfeld fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Saul Huff couldn't finish the play. 43 minutes into the match, SV Blumen Osterfeld's goal looked a bit too open when Irmin Schall came free, but Bruno Gapp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arno Melzers short, quick shot in the 45thth minute got Frederico Kuinke to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of SV Blumen Osterfeld booed when Schachthalden was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nils Steininger didn't get a good kick on the ball.

SV Blumen Osterfeld's Björn Gondro managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Siegmund Albrecht in the 54 minute of the game. In the 61st minute, Saul Huff ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Frederico Kuinke was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Ewald Harm hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Arno Melzer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Frederico Kuinke was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. Arno Melzer struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Frederico Kuinke didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SV Blumen Osterfeld. In the 71st match minute, Schachthalden was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Siegfried Hildebrandt to maneuver through the defense. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 87 minutes into the match, Schachthalden's goal looked a bit too open when Saul Huff came free, but Frederico Kuinke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Arno Melzer got free in front of the goal in the 88th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Frederico Kuinke was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Björn Gondro managed to get in a good position for a shot. SV Blumen Osterfeld's supporters rose to their feet, but Björn Gondro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frederico Kuinke breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Schachthalden's Oleg Kläser got a free kick in the 90th minute. A collision led to SV Blumen Osterfeld getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Arno Melzer hit a great ball. Schachthalden's Frederico Kuinke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arno Melzer in the 97th minute of play. Saul Huff received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Frederico Kuinke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There was no doubt that SV Blumen Osterfeld were the better team. SV Blumen Osterfeld's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
