Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Marek Adasch started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dejan Denz in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luca Huthmann saved Hövelhof FSV from getting behind. 6 minutes into the match, Friedrich Gotthard notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Elisenhof's Marco Reiner. Marco Reiner was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 10th minute of the match Lars Bischof shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marco Reiner showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Marek Adasch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Reiner having to interfere. Marek Adasch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Marco Reiner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Stephane Baumert put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Luca Huthmann. If Stephane Baumert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luca Huthmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stephane Baumert in the 35th minute of play. In the 37th match minute, Elisenhof was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Bereths to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th minute of the match Lars Bischof shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marco Reiner showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 43rd minute Stephane Baumert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luca Huthmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stephane Baumert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luca Huthmann having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dejan Denz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Stephane Baumert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 56 minutes into the match, Elisenhof's Stephane Baumert sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luca Huthmann narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Marek Adasch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Reiner having to interfere. Marco Reiner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marek Adasch in the 60th minute of play. In the 70th match minute, Hövelhof FSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Safet Kohlstedt to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Elisenhof's Marko Frentzen got a free kick in the 76th minute. Stephane Baumert was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 80th minute. Elisenhof's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 83 minutes into the match, Friedrich Gotthard had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marco Reiner. Elisenhof's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Friedrich Gotthard was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. If Stephane Baumert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Safet Kohlstedt during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 92nd match minute, Hövelhof FSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Safet Kohlstedt to maneuver through the defense. Hövelhof FSV were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Elisenhof for a fine match.
