A sloppy throw-in by Lucas Bolwig in the 4th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by SV Blumen Osterfeld's Saul Huff. After 5 minutes, Arno Melzer made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. TSV Vardy Die Schon 13's Elis Twupack tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Arno Melzer struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Elis Twupack didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SV Blumen Osterfeld. With an all-out effort, TSV Vardy Die Schon 13's Bruno Gapp threw himself towards the right post 11 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Harald Klain, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Saul Huff struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Elis Twupack didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SV Blumen Osterfeld. 18 minutes into the game, Arno Melzer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Elis Twupack was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Arno Melzer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elis Twupack having to interfere. In the 25th minute Sascha Wehr shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Gapp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th minute, Jim Rinke hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arno Melzer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elis Twupack having to interfere. Jim Rinke could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Bruno Gapp made a huge save. Through an outstanding action, after 40 minutes, Bruno Gapp successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Elis Twupack stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arno Melzer's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. In the 47th match minute, SV Blumen Osterfeld was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Schmelzer to maneuver through the defense.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arno Melzer made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arno Melzer got free with Elis Twupack in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arvid Bongartz lost his temper 58 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After a rather tough play, SV Blumen Osterfeld's Arvid Bongartz got a free kick in the 59th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Klaus Balldorf in the 60th minute of play forced SV Blumen Osterfeld's goalkeeper Bruno Gapp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. David Schmelzer came free in the 64th minute and tried to tip the ball over Elis Twupack, but to the joy of TSV Vardy Die Schon 13's supporters the ball went over. In the 69th minute, Jim Rinke made a precise shot to the right of Bruno Gapp. SV Blumen Osterfeld's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Bruno Gapp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sascha Wehr in the 72nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harald Klain in the 76th minute of play forced SV Blumen Osterfeld's goalkeeper Bruno Gapp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SV Blumen Osterfeld's attentive Arno Melzer managed to snatch the ball when Lucas Bolwig made a throw-in in the 78th minute of the game. In the 79th match minute, TSV Vardy Die Schon 13 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sascha Wehr to maneuver through the defense. 86 minutes into the game, SV Blumen Osterfeld's Björn Gondro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elis Twupack made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. A collision led to TSV Vardy Die Schon 13 getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Erling Schöning hit a great ball. After 94 played minutes SV Blumen Osterfeld got a freekick which was hit by David Schmelzer. Bruno Gapp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sascha Wehr, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The TSV Vardy Die Schon 13 supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching SV Blumen Osterfeld's performance. The match ended with a win for SV Blumen Osterfeld.
