The tension between the 1.FC Do Ping and the FC Ostsee 06 players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of FC Ostsee 06 booed when 1.FC Do Ping was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julius Kapell didn't get a good kick on the ball. Igli Kühle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Herwig Zabel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Holger Kamin having to interfere. In the 13th minute Igli Kühle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Holger Kamin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 14 minutes, Walther Reimann mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the 1.FC Do Ping and the FC Ostsee 06 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Walther Reimann hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. If Igli Kühle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Holger Kamin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igli Kühle, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 1.FC Do Ping's Herwig Zabel got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in FC Ostsee 06's zone, Igli Kühle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Holger Kamin came out of the goal and Igli Kühle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 38 minutes into the match, 1.FC Do Ping's Herwig Zabel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Holger Kamin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of FC Ostsee 06 booed when 1.FC Do Ping was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marvin Nimz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 46 minutes of play 1.FC Do Ping's Marvin Nimz was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 47th minute of the match Gianni Berosch shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ludwig Pfitzner showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Herwig Zabel to make the kick off. When FC Ostsee 06's Klemens Scharpe in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The audience thought a goal was coming when Herwig Zabel got free with Holger Kamin in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ludwig Pfitzner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torge Quoos in the 72nd minute of the match. Torge Quoos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 80 minutes into the game, Igli Kühle was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. 1.FC Do Ping's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Ostsee 06 the free kick. In the 80th match minute, 1.FC Do Ping was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Igli Kühle to maneuver through the defense. When Igli Kühle was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 82 minutes had been played. Igli Kühle kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Klemens Scharpe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Corvinus Busse charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Corvinus Busse the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 89th minute, Corvinus Busse hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Torge Quoos came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the FC Ostsee 06 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Torge Quoos couldn't finish the play. Torge Quoos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FC Ostsee 06's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
