Matt Jansch took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eugen Dölle. Eugen Dölle dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 29th minute Matt Jansch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugen Dölle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot by Oskar Ehret from long distance, 33 minutes into the match, got Nathan Hoefer's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After having played for 34 minutes, Uwe Kübler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. After 39 minutes of play Forza FC's Roberto Gänßle was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Mehringsburg FC booed when Forza FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roberto Gänßle didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Mehringsburg FC's Erhard Benscheider tried to score from far away in the 40th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 42 minutes into the match, Mehringsburg FC's Uwe Kübler sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nathan Hoefer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Ty Felich had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Uwe Kübler managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mehringsburg FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Uwe Kübler was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nathan Hoefer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Forza FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Ruben Grotewohl hit a great ball. 47 minutes into the game, Ty Felich cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Nathan Hoefer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Uwe Kübler was the one to do the kick off. Uwe Kübler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Nathan Hoefer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Ty Felich's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nathan Hoefer was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Mehringsburg FC's Ty Felich got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Josef Altesleben kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Erhard Benscheider took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 64th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nathan Hoefer. Forza FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Nathan Hoefer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ty Felich, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Nathan Hoefer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Uwe Kübler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 73 played minutes Mehringsburg FC got a freekick which was hit by Patrick-Marc Göldner. Mehringsburg FC's Eugen Dölle proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Mehringsburg FC from getting a goal against them. Nathan Hoefer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Uwe Kübler, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. After a rather tough play, Forza FC's Gregor Pluta got a free kick in the 77th minute. Ty Felich sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Uwe Kübler in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nathan Hoefer saved Forza FC from getting behind. 85 minutes into the game, Gregor Pluta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Forza FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mehringsburg FC the free kick. Gregor Pluta kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Mehringsburg FC's zone, Matt Jansch stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eugen Dölle came out of the goal and Matt Jansch tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Forza FC's goalkeeper Nathan Hoefer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The corner led to Mehringsburg FC's Frieder Hohlfeld getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Forza FC's Nathan Hoefer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uwe Kübler in the 95th minute of play. Ruben Grotewohl hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Uwe Kübler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Nathan Hoefer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mehringsburg FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
