Spectators: 7370 (Terracing: 5641, Seating: 1729, VIP seats: 0) SV Hohmann's Volker Gill started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Sammy Alfert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eibo Willsch was out of position in the 6 minute of play, and Volker Gill capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Volker Gill really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Gerrit Zielezinski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Kampa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11thth minute of the game Anatol Deligöz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SV Hohmann's Gerrit Zielezinski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rudi Münks fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eibo Willsch having to interfere. In the 15th play minute Rudi Münks came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Eibo Willsch. 2-0. The supporters of Im Schöll booed when SV Hohmann was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Helmut Huhn didn't get a good kick on the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Im Schöll's Tobias Homeyer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gerrit Zielezinski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gerrit Zielezinski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anatol Deligöz in the 28th minute of play. Eibo Willsch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Volker Gill, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd match minute, SV Hohmann was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michael Grohganz to maneuver through the defense. Im Schöll's André Kampa got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 36 minutes into the match, Im Schöll's goalkeeper Eibo Willsch had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rudi Münks. 38 minutes into the match, SV Hohmann's goal looked a bit too open when André Kampa came free, but Gerrit Zielezinski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th minute, one of SV Hohmann:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SV Hohmann. If André Kampa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anatol Deligöz made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Im Schöll's zone, Michael Grohganz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eibo Willsch came out of the goal and Michael Grohganz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when André Kampa got free with Gerrit Zielezinski in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Volker Gill's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eibo Willsch read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Anatol Deligöz in the 64thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gerrit Zielezinski, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, André Kampa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Im Schöll's supporters rose to their feet, but André Kampa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gerrit Zielezinski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anatol Deligöz in the 68th minute of play forced SV Hohmann's goalkeeper Gerrit Zielezinski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anatol Deligöz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 71st minute, SV Hohmann's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after André Kampa fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Gerrit Zielezinski was out of position in the 72 minute of play, and André Kampa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. André Kampa really showed his touch with that goal: 2-4. André Kampa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Gerrit Zielezinski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gerrit Zielezinski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anatol Deligöz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Im Schöll getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Johannes Tepper hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, SV Hohmann's Sammy Alfert got a free kick in the 94th minute. Volker Gill struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Eibo Willsch didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SV Hohmann. When the final whistle sounded Im Schöll left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than SV Hohmann.
