Spectators: 6846 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 130) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ditmar Ehrmann kicked off to start the match. If Alfred Paulmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 8 minutes into the match, FC Lenzen's goalkeeper Eduard Halfpap had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tasso Zebrowski. Sigurd Dominicus hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Eduard Halfpap made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Tasso Zebrowski sent off a good shot on target. Tasso Zebrowski came free with the goalkeeper in the 20th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Eduard Halfpap could save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laurenz Middelberg in the 26th minute of play forced Tanna's goalkeeper Burkhard Ruge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eduard Halfpap made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ditmar Ehrmann in the 27th minute of play. Laurenz Middelberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Burkhard Ruge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, FC Lenzen's Roger Bieniok got a free kick in the 40th minute. Cecil Stadler lost his temper 43 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 42nd minute of the game. One of Tanna:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Lenzen:s goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alfred Paulmann made a kick off. A hard, long distance shot from Arne Barges flew over the goal. In the 52nd minute, Sigurd Dominicus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Laurenz Middelberg who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 56thth minute tested the skills of Burkhard Ruge when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 64th match minute, Tanna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Asmus Schröder to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th minute, Alfred Paulmann left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Lenzen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. If Laurenz Middelberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tasso Zebrowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 82nd minute, Arne Barges had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. When Roger Bieniok fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Lenzen's protests and gave Roger Bieniok a yellow card for diving instead. Roger Bieniok hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. FC Lenzen's Sigurd Dominicus got his second yellow card of the match in the 89th minute. The referee ordered Sigurd Dominicus off the ground. In the 89th match minute, FC Lenzen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sigurd Dominicus to maneuver through the defense.
