Spectators: 5642 (Terracing: 5642, Seating: 0, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Alfred Paulmann kicked off to start the match. Borsum's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tim Gratzke was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 14th minute Sönke von Scheliha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduard Halfpap saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, FC Lenzen's Roger Bieniok got a free kick in the 16th minute. FC Lenzen's Eduard Halfpap played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johann Schurwanz in the 20th minute of play. 20 minutes into the game, Sigurd Dominicus was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Lenzen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Borsum the free kick. Eduard Halfpap was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reinhart Ruben in the 35th minute of play forced FC Lenzen's goalkeeper Eduard Halfpap to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Laurenz Middelberg kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. In the 46th minute, Reinhart Ruben got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Johann Schurwanz made a kick off. Sönke von Scheliha might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eduard Halfpap. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sönke von Scheliha ran back to his position shaking his head. Eduard Halfpap came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Borsum's Cornelius Weiers. But to his dismay, Cornelius Weiers quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. The audience thought a goal was coming when Reinhart Ruben got free with Eduard Halfpap in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sönke von Scheliha got free with Eduard Halfpap in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 63rd minute, Reinhart Ruben got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sönke von Scheliha blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eduard Halfpap having to make a save. From close distance Reinhart Ruben pressed in the 0-6 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 86 minutes into the game. Eduard Halfpap showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sönke von Scheliha, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. After having played for 91 minutes, Reinhart Ruben managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Borsum's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reinhart Ruben was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Sönke von Scheliha's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eduard Halfpap was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Johann Schurwanz got free with Eduard Halfpap in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match was over Borsum could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC Lenzen throughout the match.
