Florin Huhn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Frenzle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Balko Ecke fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Obermoosschwaige FSV's protests and gave Balko Ecke a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Obermoosschwaige FSV getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Balko Ecke hit a great ball. Jonas Schmitz scored 1-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gedeon Freitag, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 19th minute, Jochen Grill hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Germania Peickwitz's Mattes Scholl couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 20th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Obermoosschwaige FSV. Gedeon Freitag showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonas Schmitz in the 24th minute of the match. Simeon Deisler's late challenge caught a Obermoosschwaige FSV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Simeon Deisler helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Obermoosschwaige FSV booed when FC Germania Peickwitz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simeon Deisler didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30th minute of the match Jochen Grill sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gedeon Freitag skillfully saved the ball. Rainer Blachstein hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Obermoosschwaige FSV's zone, Oskar Weiß stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Florin Huhn came out of the goal and Oskar Weiß tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Florin Huhn was a little too slow when Frank Frenzle got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 46th minute. The score was now 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The wind increased when Jonas Schmitz made the kick off in the second half. Florin Huhn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oskar Weiß, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Jonas Schmitz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 62ndth minute tested the skills of Gedeon Freitag when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jonas Schmitz struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Gedeon Freitag didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Obermoosschwaige FSV. FC Germania Peickwitz's Gedeon Freitag proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save FC Germania Peickwitz from getting a goal against them. Alfonso Körth charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfonso Körth the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
