In the 9th minute Herbert Felber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hüseyin-Kenan Stockhaus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 10 played minutes BV Grün-Weiß Holt got a freekick which was hit by Montgomery Bleck. After a rather tough play, BV Grün-Weiß Holt's Ralph Repplinger got a free kick in the 16th minute. Hüseyin-Kenan Stockhaus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richard Uschok in the 20th minute of play. After having played for 30 minutes, Richard Uschok managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BV Grün-Weiß Holt's supporters crossed their fingers, but Richard Uschok was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to BV Grün-Weiß Holt getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Ralph Repplinger hit a great ball. CSKA Sofia's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
