In the 11thth minute of the game Terry Jantzen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aspe FSV's Jonas Schick was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aspe FSV's Andi Webermann got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andi Webermann got free with Egon Knabe in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Egon Knabe made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Elvis Szczepanowski sent off a good shot on target. 21 minutes into the match, Andi Webermann had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Egon Knabe. Bayern Munich's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andi Webermann was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. The Aspe FSV fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when Aspe FSV's Andi Webermann looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Hüseyin-Kenan Durr received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Egon Knabe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andi Webermanns short, quick shot in the 31stth minute got Egon Knabe to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Wolf Schiffmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Egon Knabe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andi Webermann's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. Elvis Szczepanowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Andi Webermann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Karsten Dohrmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Bayern Munich getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Nepomuk Korte hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Andi Webermann managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aspe FSV's supporters rose to their feet, but Andi Webermann was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Egon Knabe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bayern Munich's Nepomuk Korte got his second yellow card of the match in the 59th minute. The referee ordered Nepomuk Korte off the ground. In the 60th minute, Nepomuk Korte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andi Webermann struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. After a rather tough play, Aspe FSV's Dieter Reckmüller got a free kick in the 67th minute. When Andi Webermann came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Aspe FSV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andi Webermann couldn't finish the play. In the 76th minute, Philipp Feige left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bayern Munich fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. If Hüseyin-Kenan Durr had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 86th play minutes Andi Webermann shot 4-1, a short shot which went by Egon Knabe and just under the crossbar into goal. Egon Knabe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andi Webermann's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Dieter Reckmüller took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Egon Knabe. Egon Knabe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. When Aspe FSV's Andi Webermann in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bayern Munich's goalie prevented a goal.
