The audience thought a goal was coming when Paul Stradinger got free with Siegmund Buhrmann in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 4 minutes into the match, Josef Zanter dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Siegmund Buhrmann, 1-0. Siegmund Buhrmann was out of position in the 7 minute of play, and Tizian Hornsteiner capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tizian Hornsteiner really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. In the 13th minute, Bakenberg FSV's Josef Zanter ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Siegmund Buhrmann. Siegmund Buhrmann yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Philipp Welskop during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Bakenberg FSV getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Philipp Welskop hit a great ball. Bakenberg FSV's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Relf Pichotta in the 29th minute. A nice corner shot did that Relf Pichotta got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Siegmund Buhrmann quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 39 minutes into the match, Germania Haithabu's goal looked a bit too open when Edmund Giesen came free, but Siegmund Buhrmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute, Bakenberg FSV's Edmund Giesen ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Siegmund Buhrmann. Siegmund Buhrmann yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 6-0. Siegmund Buhrmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmund Giesen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 46 minutes into the match, Josef Zanter dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Siegmund Buhrmann, 7-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 7-0.

Bernd Holz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Thierry Bagehorn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Josef Zanter's late challenge caught a Germania Haithabu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Josef Zanter helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Bakenberg FSV's Josef Zanter got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 57th minute, Ubbo Schlösser hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tizian Hornsteiner in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Siegmund Buhrmann prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 67 minutes into the match, Paul Stradinger had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Siegmund Buhrmann. Germania Haithabu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paul Stradinger was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. Siegmund Buhrmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmund Giesen in the 69th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the match, Germania Haithabu's goal looked a bit too open when Paul Stradinger came free, but Siegmund Buhrmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 71 minutes into the game, Edmund Giesen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-0. Siegmund Buhrmann was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ubbo Marschner's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 76thth minute, Thierry Bagehorn skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After having played for 87 minutes, Paul Stradinger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bakenberg FSV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paul Stradinger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 89th minute Tizian Hornsteiner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Siegmund Buhrmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 91 minutes, the score became 10-2 when Ubbo Marschner sped through Bakenberg FSV's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Thierry Bagehorn. 95 minutes into the game, Bakenberg FSV's Josef Zanter nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Siegmund Buhrmann made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 11-2. Bakenberg FSV walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
