Max Babic sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Edward Surek hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Timotheus Zaborowski made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Michael Dierkes sent off a good shot on target. 37 minutes into the game, Kevin Thier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Reicheneck FSV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lomersheim the free kick. A collision led to Reicheneck FSV getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Kevin Thier hit a great ball. Max Babic received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Timotheus Zaborowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lukas Berz kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Michael Dierkes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Max Babic was the one to do the kick off. Timotheus Zaborowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Max Babic, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Reicheneck FSV's zone, Michael Dierkes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Timotheus Zaborowski came out of the goal and Michael Dierkes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Michael Dierkes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Max Babic had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonard Streicher hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. 64 minutes into the match, Reicheneck FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Michael Dierkes came free, but Timotheus Zaborowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Reicheneck FSV's Edward Surek got a free kick in the 66th minute. Werner Tinz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 67th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Timotheus Zaborowski. Reicheneck FSV's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Timotheus Zaborowski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Max Babic's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Michael Dierkes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Timotheus Zaborowski having to interfere.
