Spectators: 7357 (Terracing: 5623, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 10) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Edmund Giesen took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd match minute, Bakenberg FSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ralph Lufen to maneuver through the defense. After 8 minutes Bakenberg FSV's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gerd Beneyto Arago who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Gerd Beneyto Arago almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Bakenberg FSV's Thierry Bagehorn did a great save. Edmund Giesen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 17 minutes into the match, Bakenberg FSV's Tizian Hornsteiner sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Timotheus Zaborowski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Timotheus Zaborowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmund Giesen in the 17th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmund Giesen in the 22nd minute of play forced Reicheneck FSV's goalkeeper Timotheus Zaborowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gereon Wingert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thierry Bagehorn having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Bakenberg FSV's Philipp Welskop got a free kick in the 27th minute. After 29 played minutes Bakenberg FSV got a freekick which was hit by Tizian Hornsteiner. Timotheus Zaborowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmund Giesen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tizian Hornsteiner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 38 minutes into the game, Bakenberg FSV's Tizian Hornsteiner nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Timotheus Zaborowski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Timotheus Zaborowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmund Giesen in the 43rd minute of play. Timotheus Zaborowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tizian Hornsteiner in the 45th minute of the match. Tizian Hornsteiner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmund Giesen in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Timotheus Zaborowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Bakenberg FSV booed when Reicheneck FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerd Artmaier didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 58th minute, Relf Pichotta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Edmund Giesen kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Timotheus Zaborowski. That made the score 0-2 in the 71 minute of play. Tizian Hornsteiner might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Timotheus Zaborowski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tizian Hornsteiner ran back to his position shaking his head. Timotheus Zaborowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmund Giesen in the 76th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonard Streicher during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Leonard Streicher hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 80th minute of the match Relf Pichotta sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Timotheus Zaborowski skillfully saved the ball. Tizian Hornsteiner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Timotheus Zaborowski having to interfere. 89 minutes into the match, Reicheneck FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Edmund Giesen came free, but Timotheus Zaborowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Martin Koschera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ivar Schnurr's late challenge caught a Reicheneck FSV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ivar Schnurr helped the player get up and apologised. Timotheus Zaborowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmund Giesen in the 98th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 100th minute, Martin Koschera managed to get in a good position for a shot. Reicheneck FSV's supporters rose to their feet, but Martin Koschera was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thierry Bagehorn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Reicheneck FSV fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Bakenberg FSV were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
