The referee ignored Schattenläufer's protests and gave Steffen Santl a yellow card for diving instead. After 8 played minutes Schattenläufer got a freekick which was hit by Steffen Santl. Henning Pröger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Keanu Leichsenring, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Bengt Päzel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nikolas Mannheim stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bengt Päzel's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Henning Pröger made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leon Gänßle in the 18th minute. Enno Jonasson kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Keanu Leichsenring fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henning Pröger having to interfere. Nikolas Mannheim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steffen Santl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bengt Päzel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikolas Mannheim having to interfere. Lothar Cakmakli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikolas Mannheim having to interfere. Bengt Päzel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Nikolas Mannheim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Jürg Recht's late challenge caught a Fc Santana's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jürg Recht helped the player get up and apologised. In the 56th match minute, Schattenläufer was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jürg Recht to maneuver through the defense. If Keanu Leichsenring had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leon Gänßle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Enno Jonasson kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Achim Bussler took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 64th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Henning Pröger. Schattenläufer's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Lothar Cakmakli came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Schattenläufer fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lothar Cakmakli couldn't finish the play. Lars Damerau hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. In the 75th minute Bengt Päzel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nikolas Mannheim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Henning Pröger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leon Gänßle in the 78th minute of the match. Jürg Recht kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Keanu Leichsenring's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Henning Pröger read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Bengt Päzel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikolas Mannheim having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Fc Santana's zone, Enno Jonasson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nikolas Mannheim came out of the goal and Enno Jonasson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Schattenläufer players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Fc Santana from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
