The supporters of Reicheneck FSV booed when Germania Haithabu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timotheus Zaborowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ubbo Marschner in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Timotheus Zaborowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ubbo Marschner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Timotheus Zaborowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ubbo Marschner came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Germania Haithabu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ubbo Marschner couldn't finish the play. Siegmund Buhrmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonard Streicher in the 32nd minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Ubbo Marschner notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Reicheneck FSV's Timotheus Zaborowski. Timotheus Zaborowski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With his leg Timotheus Zaborowski managed to avoid a goal in the 45thth minute, when Germania Haithabu's Ubbo Marschner fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Bernd Holz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Timotheus Zaborowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ubbo Marschner to make the kick off. Ubbo Marschner scored 2-0 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Timotheus Zaborowski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ubbo Marschner in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Timotheus Zaborowski saved Reicheneck FSV from getting behind. There was no doubt that Germania Haithabu were the better team. Germania Haithabu's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
