Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Heinrich Dräger started the match with the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Dimitrios Graf managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zschortau's supporters rose to their feet, but Dimitrios Graf was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Morten Schmithuysen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 11 minutes into the game, Ekke Straub was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zschortau's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jiggel the free kick. After 11 played minutes Zschortau got a freekick which was hit by Ekke Straub. A hard shot by Erwin Kretschmann from long distance, 12 minutes into the match, got Glenn Ruck's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 13th minute Erwin Böge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Morten Schmithuysen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thomas Eumann scored 1-0 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Glenn Ruck, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Glenn Ruck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas Eumann in the 19th minute of play. After 26 minutes of play, Jiggel's Fabien Franke made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Glenn Ruck was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fabien Franke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 31st match minute, Zschortau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Siegfried Kircher to maneuver through the defense. In the 32nd match minute, Zschortau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dietrich Bannenberg to maneuver through the defense. Glenn Ruck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabien Franke, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. When Lysander Babusch fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jiggel's protests and gave Lysander Babusch a yellow card for diving instead. Heinrich Dräger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Morten Schmithuysen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Heinrich Dräger's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Morten Schmithuysen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Zschortau's Erwin Böge sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Morten Schmithuysen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Heinrich Dräger in the 73rd minute of play forced Jiggel's goalkeeper Morten Schmithuysen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 77 played minutes Zschortau got a freekick which was hit by Merijan Peeger. Fabien Franke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 88 minutes, Fabien Franke made it 4-1 with a short kick to the right side. Zschortau's Glenn Ruck tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Luca Derm hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jiggel's goalkeeper Morten Schmithuysen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 94th match minute, Jiggel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lysander Babusch to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Jiggel's Luca Derm got a free kick in the 96th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Jiggel fans cheered their team off the field, for while Zschortau had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
