Spectators: 7208 (Terracing: 5608, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) 1.FC Georgenhaag's Albrecht Borgmann started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benedetto Heimann during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 6 played minutes Marienau got a freekick which was hit by Benedetto Heimann. Friedrich Heinrich made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduard Humpkamp in the 9th minute of play. Albrecht Borgmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Helmuth Hannemann kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 20th minute, Marius Feuerstein left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Marienau fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Marienau's zone, Albrecht Borgmann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Friedrich Heinrich came out of the goal and Albrecht Borgmann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Albrecht Borgmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Friedrich Heinrich tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Albrecht Borgmann in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Friedrich Heinrich prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dennis Mett charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dennis Mett the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Marius Feuerstein managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marienau's supporters rose to their feet, but Marius Feuerstein was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fritz Schreiner breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Albrecht Borgmann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Albrecht Borgmann in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Friedrich Heinrich saved Marienau from getting behind. If Eduard Humpkamp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 44 minutes, Albrecht Borgmann made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Marienau's Friedrich Heinrich tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

After 50 played minutes Marienau got a freekick which was hit by Günther Reckmüller. 53 minutes into the match, Eduard Humpkamp notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Marienau's Friedrich Heinrich. Friedrich Heinrich was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 58th minute of the match Luca Hasenstab shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fritz Schreiner showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Marienau's Günther Reckmüller got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A hard shot by Fynn Söbbe from long distance, 70 minutes into the match, got Friedrich Heinrich's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Eduard Humpkamp in the 74thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Friedrich Heinrich, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Friedrich Heinrich was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Albrecht Borgmann showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 75 minute of play. Marienau's Friedrich Heinrich proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Marienau from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albrecht Borgmann in the 88th minute of play forced Marienau's goalkeeper Friedrich Heinrich to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Alfonso Glenz fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Marienau's protests and gave Alfonso Glenz a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Marienau getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Alfonso Glenz hit a great ball. In the 92nd minute of the match, Erik Himmelreich tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Friedrich Heinrich saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Eduard Humpkamp managed to get in a good position for a shot. 1.FC Georgenhaag's supporters rose to their feet, but Eduard Humpkamp was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Friedrich Heinrich breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Friedrich Heinrich came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by 1.FC Georgenhaag's Eduard Humpkamp. But to his dismay, Eduard Humpkamp quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. 1.FC Georgenhaag played a much better game than Marienau and deserved their victory. The Marienau players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
