Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Viktor Bülow made the kick off and thus started the match. The supporters of Nieukerker Bruch booed when 1.FC Georgenhaag was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sixten Tackmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. Walter Klütz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 8th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fritz Schreiner. 1.FC Georgenhaag's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Viktor Bülow recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hugo Lüttges during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Hugo Lüttges hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Nieukerker Bruch defense, Eduard Humpkamp kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Frederik Wichtel. The Nieukerker Bruch fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Frederik Wichtel should have stopped the shot. In the 18th minute of the match, Eduard Humpkamp got a very nice opportunity to score, but Frederik Wichtel was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Frederik Wichtel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albrecht Borgmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erik Himmelreich in the 26th minute of play forced Nieukerker Bruch's goalkeeper Frederik Wichtel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes into the game, Nieukerker Bruch's Viktor Bülow nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fritz Schreiner made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. If Albrecht Borgmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Albrecht Borgmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Albrecht Borgmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frederik Wichtel having to interfere. Frederik Wichtel didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 46th minute, which inside left pole to 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eduard Humpkamp in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Frederik Wichtel saved Nieukerker Bruch from getting behind. Oliver Pfaffen hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 57th minute of the match Sixten Tackmann shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Frederik Wichtel showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to 1.FC Georgenhaag getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Winfried van Slooten hit a great ball. In the 69th minute, Eduard Humpkamp got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 70 minutes, Albrecht Borgmann managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 1.FC Georgenhaag's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albrecht Borgmann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Albrecht Borgmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Boy Eichelberger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Albrecht Borgmann managed to get in a good position for a shot. 1.FC Georgenhaag's supporters rose to their feet, but Albrecht Borgmann was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frederik Wichtel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 89th minute Eduard Humpkamp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frederik Wichtel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frederik Wichtel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduard Humpkamp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 1.FC Georgenhaag's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
