Jens Roth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Marko Jüptner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 7th minute Wayne Döring shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marko Jüptner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute, Robert Schmidtmann got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 12 minutes into the game, Edgar Beiche cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Timotheus Gerharz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Raik Große Verspohl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marko Jüptner having to interfere. Edgar Beiche recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wayne Döring in the 22nd minute of play forced TSV Brunn's goalkeeper Marko Jüptner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the match, TSV Brunn's goal looked a bit too open when Jens Roth came free, but Marko Jüptner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 1. FC Jamo's Timotheus Gerharz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save 1. FC Jamo from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edgar Beiche got free with Timotheus Gerharz in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 35 minutes into the match, TSV Brunn's goal looked a bit too open when Jens Roth came free, but Marko Jüptner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36thth minute of the game Anthony Göbel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but TSV Brunn's Marko Jüptner was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 1. FC Jamo's Jens Roth got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jens Roth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marko Jüptner having to interfere. With a little luck, 1. FC Jamo's Timotheus Gerharz got control of the ball when Edgar Beiche tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Edgar Beiche came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the TSV Brunn fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgar Beiche couldn't finish the play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Timo Hübner to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Eusebius Debus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wayne Döring received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marko Jüptner came out and tried to block the shot, but Wayne Döring slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 54th minute. Marko Jüptner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wayne Döring, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 60th minute Jens Roth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marko Jüptner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 61st minute, 1. FC Jamo's Wayne Döring ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marko Jüptner. Marko Jüptner yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. TSV Brunn's Marko Jüptner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anthony Göbel in the 67th minute of play. If Anthony Göbel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wayne Döring might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marko Jüptner. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wayne Döring ran back to his position shaking his head. Marko Jüptner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anthony Göbel in the 72nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ronnie Naber got free with Marko Jüptner in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Timo Hübner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Timotheus Gerharz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jens Roth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wayne Döring's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marko Jüptner read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. The TSV Brunn fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. 1. FC Jamo were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
