In the 8th match minute, TSV Brunn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timo Hübner to maneuver through the defense. Rodolfo Tözen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 16 played minutes TSV Brunn got a freekick which was hit by Kristof Markmann. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Ioannis Rahmstein managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aachen West's supporters rose to their feet, but Ioannis Rahmstein was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marko Jüptner breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rodolfo Tözen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 25th minute, Rodolfo Tözen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marko Jüptner was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The audience was convinced that Louis Lattus's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marko Jüptner was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Louis Lattus blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marko Jüptner having to make a save. 34 minutes into the game, Aachen West's Rodolfo Tözen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marko Jüptner made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Louis Lattus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marko Jüptner having to interfere. After having played for 39 minutes, Rodolfo Tözen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aachen West's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodolfo Tözen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Aachen West booed when TSV Brunn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusebius Debus didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ioannis Rahmstein had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Timo Hübner to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Aachen West was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Balthasar Limberger to maneuver through the defense. In the 54th minute Edgar Beiche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefan Raps saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Raiko Winkler came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Aachen West fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raiko Winkler couldn't finish the play. 59 minutes into the match, TSV Brunn's goalkeeper Marko Jüptner had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Louis Lattus. The audience thought a goal was coming when Louis Lattus got free with Marko Jüptner in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodolfo Tözen in the 62nd minute of play forced TSV Brunn's goalkeeper Marko Jüptner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 66 minutes, Rodolfo Tözen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 74th minute Louis Lattus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marko Jüptner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Raiko Winkler put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Marko Jüptner. Marko Jüptner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ioannis Rahmstein, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. When Rodolfo Tözen came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Aachen West fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodolfo Tözen couldn't finish the play. Rodolfo Tözen received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marko Jüptner came out and tried to block the shot, but Rodolfo Tözen slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 90th minute. Eusebius Debus's late challenge caught a Aachen West's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eusebius Debus helped the player get up and apologised. In the 97th match minute, TSV Brunn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusebius Debus to maneuver through the defense. Aachen West played a much better game than TSV Brunn and deserved their victory. The TSV Brunn players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
