Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Martin Koenecke made the kick off and thus started the match. Raphael Ehler kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. After 9 played minutes, Marienau's Massimo Gross shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sebald Majewski came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Marienau reached it. When Lederbach's Ekkehard Mintzel in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Marienau's goalie prevented a goal. Martin Koenecke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Friedrich Heinrich having to interfere. 26 minutes into the match, Marienau's goalkeeper Friedrich Heinrich had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ekkehard Mintzel. Martin Koenecke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Friedrich Heinrich tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Lederbach fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when Lederbach's Ekkehard Mintzel looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ekkehard Mintzel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Friedrich Heinrich having to interfere. 47 minutes into the game, Martin Koenecke was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lederbach's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Marienau the free kick. Martin Koenecke hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Günther Reckmüller stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Lederbach's Sebald Majewski got control of the ball when Marius Feuerstein tried to sneak it across the goal line. Martin Koenecke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Friedrich Heinrich tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 54 minutes, Günther Reckmüller mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Marienau and the Lederbach players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 55 played minutes Marienau got a freekick which was hit by Günther Reckmüller. After 57 played minutes Marienau got a freekick which was hit by Massimo Gross. If Benedetto Dötsch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Koenecke in the 63rd minute of play forced Marienau's goalkeeper Friedrich Heinrich to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Friedrich Heinrich came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Lederbach's Martin Koenecke. But to his dismay, Martin Koenecke quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After having played for 73 minutes, Alexander Dahlinger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lederbach's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexander Dahlinger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Günther Reckmüller received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Sebald Majewski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexander Dahlinger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Friedrich Heinrich having to interfere. Massimo Gross was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 89 minutes into the match. Marius Feuerstein scored 3-2 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sebald Majewski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
