TSV Brunn's Marko Jüptner proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save TSV Brunn from getting a goal against them. Wilhelm Bopp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erik Schulz in the 10th minute of play forced TSV Brunn's goalkeeper Marko Jüptner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 15 minutes, Eusebius Debus mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the TSV Brunn and the Kreuer Fürth players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, TSV Brunn's Eusebius Debus got a free kick in the 15th minute. Timo Hübner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 20 minutes, Wilhelm Bopp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kreuer Fürth's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wilhelm Bopp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wilhelm Bopp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eusebius Debus got his second yellow card in the match during the 26th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Eusebius Debus kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Kreuer Fürth's Wilhelm Bopp got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marko Jüptner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erik Schulz, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Joakim Gersten's late challenge caught a Kreuer Fürth's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joakim Gersten helped the player get up and apologised. Joakim Gersten kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Achim Rüsing hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Marko Jüptner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erik Schulz in the 34th minute of play. After having played for 37 minutes, Edgar Beiche managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TSV Brunn's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgar Beiche was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 45th minute Erik Schulz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marko Jüptner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Erik Schulz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Björn Sabath charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Björn Sabath the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Björn Sabath hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Wilhelm Bopp's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marko Jüptner read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. When Timo Hübner fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored TSV Brunn's protests and gave Timo Hübner a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Kreuer Fürth booed when TSV Brunn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timo Hübner didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Erik Schulz came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Kreuer Fürth fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erik Schulz couldn't finish the play. TSV Brunn's Marko Jüptner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilhelm Bopp in the 64th minute of play. Marko Jüptner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilhelm Bopp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 66 minutes into the game, Darko Bode was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. TSV Brunn's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kreuer Fürth the free kick. Darko Bode hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Marko Jüptner stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erik Schulz's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Edgar Beiche took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Samir Hitzler. Samir Hitzler dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Samir Hitzler made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Edgar Beiche sent off a good shot on target. Marko Jüptner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilhelm Bopp, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Marko Jüptner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rolf Gubitz in the 91st minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. TSV Brunn walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
