Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630,
Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Viktor Bülow started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd match minute, Nieukerker Bruch was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oliver Pfaffen to maneuver through the defense. Frederik Wichtel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ekkehard Mintzel's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. The audience was convinced that Ekkehard Mintzel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Frederik Wichtel was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. Viktor Bülow fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebald Majewski having to interfere. After 13 played minutes Lederbach got a freekick which was hit by Martin Koenecke. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ekkehard Mintzel in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Frederik Wichtel saved Nieukerker Bruch from getting behind. If Martin Koenecke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sebald Majewski came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Nieukerker Bruch's André Wischnowsky. But to his dismay, André Wischnowsky quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After 33 played minutes Lederbach got a freekick which was hit by Raphael Ehler. In the 37th minute Martin Koenecke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frederik Wichtel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute, Lando Dregler made a precise shot to the right of Frederik Wichtel. Nieukerker Bruch's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. The Nieukerker Bruch players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Lederbach were winning 1-2.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Martin Koenecke was the one to do the kick off. Ekkehard Mintzel kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. In the 53rd match minute, Lederbach was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Urban to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Viktor Bülow managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nieukerker Bruch's supporters rose to their feet, but Viktor Bülow was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sebald Majewski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 59 minutes into the match, Nieukerker Bruch's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Koenecke came free, but Frederik Wichtel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Martin Koenecke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frederik Wichtel having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Martin Koenecke in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Frederik Wichtel saved Nieukerker Bruch from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Raphael Ehler during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Lederbach getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Raphael Ehler hit a great ball. 67 minutes into the match, Lederbach's goal looked a bit too open when Viktor Bülow came free, but Sebald Majewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Nieukerker Bruch's zone, Martin Koenecke stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frederik Wichtel came out of the goal and Martin Koenecke tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 73rd minute, Ekkehard Mintzel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lederbach fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Frederik Wichtel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ekkehard Mintzel in the 87th minute of play. If Martin Koenecke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ekkehard Mintzel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Frederik Wichtel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 95 minutes, Ekkehard Mintzel made it 1-4 with a short kick to the right side. Nieukerker Bruch's Frederik Wichtel tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Lederbach's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
