Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) F-Hain Boxing Club's Bert Lojewski started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Enrico Schweizerhof's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ralph Thierle was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. 5 minutes into the game, Beber's Enrico Schweizerhof nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ralph Thierle made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Enrico Schweizerhof fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ralph Thierle having to interfere. Arnold Drobinski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Niklas Grünschläger having to make a save. Ralph Thierle was out of position in the 17 minute of play, and Daniel Breithaupt capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Daniel Breithaupt really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Bert Lojewski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Niklas Grünschläger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd minute Arnold Drobinski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niklas Grünschläger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Beber's Wolf Edathy got a free kick in the 24th minute. 25 minutes into the match, Beber's goal looked a bit too open when Bert Lojewski came free, but Niklas Grünschläger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Enrico Schweizerhof had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute, Rato Lührmann left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The F-Hain Boxing Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. After 41 played minutes F-Hain Boxing Club got a freekick which was hit by David Haaf. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 43rd minute, when Beber's Christian Mackenstein after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Ralph Thierle in F-Hain Boxing Club's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. 45 minutes into the game, F-Hain Boxing Club's Rato Lührmann nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Niklas Grünschläger made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Enrico Schweizerhof to make the kick off. Ralph Thierle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrico Schweizerhof in the 52nd minute of play. Niklas Grünschläger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bert Lojewski in the 56th minute of play. Niklas Grünschläger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leif Baller, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Niklas Grünschläger was out of position in the 59 minute of play, and Bert Lojewski capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bert Lojewski really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. Enrico Schweizerhof received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Ralph Thierle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnold Drobinski charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arnold Drobinski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Beber booed when F-Hain Boxing Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnold Drobinski didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 72 minutes of play, Beber's Achim Liebezeit made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ralph Thierle was left in no man's land by his defense there! F-Hain Boxing Club's Ralph Thierle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Achim Liebezeit in the 81st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrico Schweizerhof in the 83rd minute of play forced F-Hain Boxing Club's goalkeeper Ralph Thierle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 85 minutes, Enrico Schweizerhof managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Beber's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enrico Schweizerhof was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ralph Thierle came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Beber's Enrico Schweizerhof. But to his dismay, Enrico Schweizerhof quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-3. The audience was convinced that Enrico Schweizerhof's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ralph Thierle was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. When Beber's Enrico Schweizerhof in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye F-Hain Boxing Club's goalie prevented a goal. 95 minutes into the game, Beber's Daniel Breithaupt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ralph Thierle made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-3. Beber walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
