After the first half Faru CTA were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 80th minute, Faru CTA's Olaf Höfer ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gianni Wolsch. Gianni Wolsch yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. After 89 played minutes Faru CTA got a freekick which was hit by Dieter Ludwig. 91 minutes into the match, Faru CTA's goal looked a bit too open when Dustin Hasenstab came free, but Karl Eberts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eintracht Frankfurt's Gianni Wolsch proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Eintracht Frankfurt from getting a goal against them.
