Spectators: 0 (Terracing: 0, Seating: 0, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Willi Gubitz in the 3rd minute of play forced FC Varste's goalkeeper Emanuel Lindenthal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frank Stehmer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manfred Deipenbrock in the 5th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ferdinand Innerwinkler during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Roman Glenski hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. In the 21st minute, Nikolaus Scherrer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Obernbecku's goalkeeper Frank Stehmer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 26 minutes, Wolf Senkel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Varste's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wolf Senkel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wolf Senkel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wolf Senkel in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Frank Stehmer saved Obernbecku from getting behind. Obernbecku's Frank Stehmer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wolf Senkel in the 38th minute of play. In the 39th minute Manfred Deipenbrock shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frank Stehmer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manfred Deipenbrock sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Manfred Böger fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Obernbecku's protests and gave Manfred Böger a yellow card for diving instead. Manfred Böger kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

FC Varste's Ferdinand Innerwinkler got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Wolf Senkel managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Varste's supporters rose to their feet, but Wolf Senkel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frank Stehmer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wolf Senkel had several of the Obernbecku's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 60 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-2 score and a disappointed Frank Stehmer as he didn't even see the shot coming. Nikolaus Scherrer kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Wolf Senkel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Frank Stehmer having to make a save. 69 minutes into the match, Obernbecku's goal looked a bit too open when Wolf Senkel came free, but Frank Stehmer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emanuel Lindenthal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Willi Gubitz went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Manfred Deipenbrock put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Frank Stehmer. A collision led to FC Varste getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Thomas Kipping hit a great ball. After 81 played minutes, Obernbecku's Ronnie Orlowski shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Emanuel Lindenthal came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Obernbecku reached it. A collision led to Obernbecku getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Nikolaus Scherrer hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Wolf Senkel managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Varste's supporters rose to their feet, but Wolf Senkel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frank Stehmer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Wolf Senkel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wolf Senkel struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Frank Stehmer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Varste.
