Rockhausen's Fernando Hahn got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Olaf Sellmann stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Balduin Rietschel's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. If Balduin Rietschel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th minute Lukasz Achterdeck suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. 27 minutes into the game, Andreas Schlenz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rockhausen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bayern the free kick. Olaf Sellmann was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hinrik Diening made a kick off. If Hinrik Diening had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hinrik Diening took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pär Hertel. Pär Hertel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. If Fernando Hahn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kuno Heidkamp kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. With a little luck, Bayern's Olaf Sellmann got control of the ball when Fernando Hahn tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Rockhausen's zone, Hinrik Diening stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pär Hertel came out of the goal and Hinrik Diening tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 77 minutes, Iker Melkis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bayern and the Rockhausen players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Rockhausen eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
