After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Wilfried Füllkrug managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dynamo Lichtenberg's supporters rose to their feet, but Wilfried Füllkrug was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gianluca Blohm breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Dynamo Lichtenberg's zone, Gunnar Pientak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Walther Wiedenroth-Coulibaly came out of the goal and Gunnar Pientak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gero Olowka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Moorgarten FSV's goalkeeper Gianluca Blohm, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Stefan Gunawan took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Walther Wiedenroth-Coulibaly. Walther Wiedenroth-Coulibaly dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. A collision led to Dynamo Lichtenberg getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Lars Dall hit a great ball. Gunnar Pientak was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 39th minute. Moorgarten FSV's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 39th minute, Stefan Gunawan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Walther Wiedenroth-Coulibaly was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Moorgarten FSV's Stefan Gunawan got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Walther Wiedenroth-Coulibaly took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gunnar Pientak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gunnar Pientak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walther Wiedenroth-Coulibaly having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gero Olowka was the one to do the kick off. Walther Wiedenroth-Coulibaly didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gunnar Pientak went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. A collision led to Moorgarten FSV getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Kay Reinhold hit a great ball. 58 minutes into the match, Moorgarten FSV's Gunnar Pientak sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Walther Wiedenroth-Coulibaly narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dynamo Lichtenberg's Walther Wiedenroth-Coulibaly played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kay Reinhold in the 60th minute of play. Walther Wiedenroth-Coulibaly showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gunnar Pientak, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Walther Wiedenroth-Coulibaly showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gunnar Pientak in the 69th minute of the match. Antti Geppert kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. In the 76th minute, Arian Ochs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gunnar Pientak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Walther Wiedenroth-Coulibaly showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gunnar Pientak in the 85th minute of the match. If Gunnar Pientak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gunnar Pientak in the 89th minute of play forced Dynamo Lichtenberg's goalkeeper Walther Wiedenroth-Coulibaly to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Dynamo Lichtenberg's zone, Stefan Gunawan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat.
