Robin Kemmerle hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Gunnar Pientak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Steffen Austen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Kay Reinhold had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gianluca Blohm made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Eidur Piater sent off a good shot on target. Eidur Piater fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gianluca Blohm having to interfere. Gianluca Blohm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leif Kaiser, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Gianluca Blohm made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bendix Rubeck in the 30th minute. After having played for 31 minutes, Bendix Rubeck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Groß Werdum ger's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bendix Rubeck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gianluca Blohm stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eidur Piater's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. After 41 minutes of play, Moorgarten FSV's Stefan Gunawan made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Steffen Austen was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gunnar Pientak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Steffen Austen having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Steffen Austen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stefan Gunawan in the 55th minute. In the 63rd match minute, Moorgarten FSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Waldo Oberman to maneuver through the defense. Eidur Piater received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Gianluca Blohm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stefan Gunawan struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Steffen Austen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Moorgarten FSV. After a rather tough play, Groß Werdum ger's Pit Haskamp got a free kick in the 71st minute. Calvin Veiser was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 72nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stefan Gunawan got free with Steffen Austen in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 80 played minutes Groß Werdum ger got a freekick which was hit by Pit Haskamp. Steffen Austen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gunnar Pientak in the 82nd minute of play. Hermann Philipp's late challenge caught a Groß Werdum ger's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hermann Philipp helped the player get up and apologised. In the 84th match minute, Moorgarten FSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hermann Philipp to maneuver through the defense. If Kay Reinhold had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gunnar Pientak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Steffen Austen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stefan Gunawan in the 92nd minute. Thanks to some nice moves Stefan Gunawan could shoot a difficult shot in the 95th minute, which Steffen Austen however easily saved by the left post. Moorgarten FSV's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
