Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Robert Thimm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Steffen Minschke in the 3rd minute of the match. Mark Wrenger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Richart Rübin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 10 minutes into the match, Steffen Minschke notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of SG Aulendorf's Robert Thimm. Robert Thimm was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of SG Aulendorf booed when Nettesheim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niclas Mauer didn't get a good kick on the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Nettesheim's goal looked a bit too open when Mark Wrenger came free, but Richart Rübin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nettesheim's Raffael Ullmann couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for SG Aulendorf. Robert Thimm had in the 28thth minute some difficulties stopping Raffael Ullmann's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The supporters of Nettesheim booed when SG Aulendorf was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henning Wegmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mark Wrenger blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Richart Rübin having to make a save. After having played for 41 minutes, Horst Starke managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nettesheim's supporters crossed their fingers, but Horst Starke was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Theo Kleszcz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Richart Rübin made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Theo Kleszcz sent off a good shot on target.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Steffen Minschke to make the kick off. Theo Kleszcz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Richart Rübin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Robert Thimm made an important save on a dangerous shot by Horst Starke in the 57th minute. Nettesheim's Steffen Minschke got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 70 minutes into the match, Nettesheim's goal looked a bit too open when Mark Wrenger came free, but Richart Rübin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Steffen Minschke got free with Robert Thimm in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. SG Aulendorf's Robert Thimm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Steffen Minschke in the 78th minute of play. Steffen Minschke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert Thimm having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Theo Kleszcz managed to get in a good position for a shot. SG Aulendorf's supporters rose to their feet, but Theo Kleszcz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Richart Rübin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 88 played minutes, SG Aulendorf's Conny Bars shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Richart Rübin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SG Aulendorf reached it. Robert Thimm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steffen Minschke in the 92nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Horst Starke got free with Robert Thimm in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Niclas Mauer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nettesheim's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
