Spectators: 7516 (Terracing: 5638, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tim Löw took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the match, Speele FC's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Kilz came free, but Eric Räthe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emanuel Kilz in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eric Räthe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Emanuel Kilz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tim Löw in the 24th minute of play forced Eichenzell FSV's goalkeeper Rudi Gudat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eric Räthe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Kilz in the 26th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Laurenz Thumser managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eichenzell FSV's supporters rose to their feet, but Laurenz Thumser was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eric Räthe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 35 minutes into the match, Speele FC's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Kilz came free, but Eric Räthe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Laurenz Thumser received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Eric Räthe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Speele FC's Eric Räthe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laurenz Thumser in the 40th minute of play. Emanuel Kilz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eric Räthe having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Laurenz Thumser stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Speele FC's goal looked a bit too open when Laurenz Thumser came free, but Eric Räthe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emanuel Kilz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Eric Räthe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marc Klause hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Laurenz Thumser sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 68 minutes into the match, Speele FC's goal looked a bit too open when Laurenz Thumser came free, but Eric Räthe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute, Jan Janig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Herbert Fricke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rudi Gudat having to interfere. Herbert Fricke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Rudi Gudat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emanuel Kilz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Speele FC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Albert Danz hit a great ball. Emanuel Kilz spun around in front of the goal 87 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Speele FC's goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emanuel Kilz got free with Eric Räthe in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
