The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Kilz in the 3rd minute of play forced Uderdogs SV's goalkeeper Gregor Spichermann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Emanuel Kilz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Uderdogs SV's Eilert Jaeniche got a free kick in the 12th minute. Eichenzell FSV's Rudi Gudat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Toll in the 15th minute of play. 17 minutes into the game, Eichenzell FSV's Emanuel Kilz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gregor Spichermann made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Peter-Stefan Zeuner could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Gregor Spichermann made a huge save. In the 29thth minute of the game Laurenz Thumser who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Uderdogs SV's Gregor Spichermann was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 31st minute, Fredrik Scheiff made a precise shot to the right of Rudi Gudat. Eichenzell FSV's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 1-2 became the score in the 37th minute when Fredrik Scheiff elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 42 minutes of play, Eichenzell FSV's Emanuel Kilz made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gregor Spichermann was left in no man's land by his defense there! Felix Toll recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Felix Toll made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Laurenz Thumser got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eichenzell FSV's Peter-Stefan Zeuner got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rudi Gudat made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fredrik Scheiff in the 60th minute. Emanuel Kilz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gregor Spichermann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laurenz Thumser, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Kilz in the 75th minute of play forced Uderdogs SV's goalkeeper Gregor Spichermann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fredrik Scheiff sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Eichenzell FSV booed when Uderdogs SV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ovid Kühn didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 88th match minute, Eichenzell FSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marc Klause to maneuver through the defense. Gregor Spichermann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laurenz Thumser, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
