Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Gismund Heidingsfelder made the kick off which started today's match. When Benni Kuttner came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the SV Bremen Nord fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benni Kuttner couldn't finish the play. Dag Ehlert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Rafael Frohwein tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Max Nierlein scored 0-1 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rafael Frohwein, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 11 minutes of play, SV Bremen Nord's Max Nierlein made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rafael Frohwein was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Gismund Heidingsfelder in the 15th minute of play forced SV Bremen Nord's goalkeeper Franz Jäck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the game, Krister Marx cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Franz Jäck was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 26 minutes into the match, Rupennest's goal looked a bit too open when Max Nierlein came free, but Rafael Frohwein reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute Gismund Heidingsfelder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franz Jäck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rupennest's Rafael Frohwein played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Max Nierlein in the 35th minute of play. When Marc Engbers came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the SV Bremen Nord fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marc Engbers couldn't finish the play. If Max Nierlein had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Max Nierlein stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marc Engbers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Max Nierlein had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 61 minutes into the game, one of Rupennest:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Rafael Frohwein made an important save on a dangerous shot by Max Nierlein in the 64th minute. Franz Jäck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl Plaaten in the 66th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Karl Plaaten notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of SV Bremen Nord's Franz Jäck. Franz Jäck was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Max Nierlein who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 75thth minute tested the skills of Rafael Frohwein when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 76 minutes into the match, Rupennest's goal looked a bit too open when Dag Ehlert came free, but Rafael Frohwein reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, SV Bremen Nord's goal looked a bit too open when Gismund Heidingsfelder came free, but Franz Jäck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Franz Jäck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frido Rabe, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. When Rupennest's Karl Plaaten in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SV Bremen Nord's goalie prevented a goal. Björn Eickhoff hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Max Nierlein could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Rafael Frohwein made a huge save. Rupennest succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though SV Bremen Nord had controlled the match.
