The supporters of Köper booed when SV Bremen Nord was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nenad Brandstetter didn't get a good kick on the ball. 14 minutes into the game, Marc Engbers was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SV Bremen Nord's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Köper the free kick. After a rather tough play, SV Bremen Nord's Marc Engbers got a free kick in the 14th minute. After 16 played minutes Köper got a freekick which was hit by Sammy Koroschetz. Köper's Rudolf Breitenstein played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dag Ehlert in the 17th minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Max Nierlein made a precise shot to the right of Rudolf Breitenstein. Köper's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Benni Kuttner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Franz Jäck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sammy Koroschetz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute, Marc Engbers reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rudolf Breitenstein. The goal made the score 2-0. Köper's Rudolf Breitenstein played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marc Engbers in the 45th minute of play. Nenad Brandstetter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rudolf Breitenstein having to interfere.

The SV Bremen Nord fans' excitement grew in the 51st match minute when SV Bremen Nord's Nenad Brandstetter looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Carsten Haase might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rudolf Breitenstein. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carsten Haase ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Marc Engbers managed to get in a good position for a shot. SV Bremen Nord's supporters rose to their feet, but Marc Engbers was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rudolf Breitenstein breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dag Ehlert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rudolf Breitenstein having to interfere. 69 minutes into the match, SV Bremen Nord's Max Nierlein sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rudolf Breitenstein narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Köper's Rudolf Breitenstein played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Max Nierlein in the 70th minute of play. Rudolf Breitenstein showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marc Engbers in the 75th minute of the match. After 76 minutes of play, SV Bremen Nord's Benni Kuttner made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rudolf Breitenstein was left in no man's land by his defense there! Benni Kuttner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Rudolf Breitenstein tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Marc Engbers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Björn Petz hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Marc Engbers struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Rudolf Breitenstein didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SV Bremen Nord. 90 minutes into the match, Benni Kuttner had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rudolf Breitenstein. Köper's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benni Kuttner was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Marc Engbers scored 7-0 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rudolf Breitenstein, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee ended the match the SV Bremen Nord players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
