Dominik Kerbsties sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Henning Bartz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barnabas Scheel in the 9th minute of the match. After having played for 11 minutes, Enak Prott managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Heusweiler's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enak Prott was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nikolaus Kollar received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Henning Bartz came out and tried to block the shot, but Nikolaus Kollar slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 12th minute. Nikolaus Kollar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Henning Bartz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Noel Ossenkopp fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Henning Bartz, passed just outside the right post. Heusweiler's Nikolaus Kollar was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 25th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Georg Ulrich Kaemmer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Linus Mönnich, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 29th minute Kilian Bogner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Georg Ulrich Kaemmer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Heusweiler's Christoph Blaßkiewitz got a free kick in the 30th minute. Heusweiler's Georg Ulrich Kaemmer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henning Gallois in the 31st minute of play. Noel Ossenkopp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nikolaus Kollar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 36th minute, Nikolaus Kollar fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Henning Bartz, passed just outside the right post. Georg Ulrich Kaemmer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andreas Dörfler, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Linus Mönnich kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Heusweiler's Enak Prott got a free kick in the 45th minute. Georg Ulrich Kaemmer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Andreas Dörfler went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nikolaus Kollar made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Nikolaus Kollar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Henning Bartz. Schalke 04's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nikolaus Kollar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. A collision led to Schalke 04 getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Gunther Hock hit a great ball. 61 minutes into the match, Heusweiler's goal looked a bit too open when Gunther Hock came free, but Georg Ulrich Kaemmer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Henning Bartz came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Heusweiler's Dominik Kerbsties. But to his dismay, Dominik Kerbsties quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Schalke 04's Henning Bartz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enak Prott in the 73rd minute of play. When Heusweiler's Nikolaus Kollar in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Schalke 04's goalie prevented a goal. Christoph Blaßkiewitz's late challenge caught a Schalke 04's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Christoph Blaßkiewitz helped the player get up and apologised. In the 80th match minute, Heusweiler was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christoph Blaßkiewitz to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andreas Dörfler in the 83rd minute of play forced Heusweiler's goalkeeper Georg Ulrich Kaemmer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Schalke 04's Henning Bartz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dominik Kerbsties in the 85th minute of play. Henning Gallois could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Georg Ulrich Kaemmer made a huge save. Nikolaus Kollar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henning Bartz having to interfere. 91 minutes into the game, Kilian Bogner was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Schalke 04's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Heusweiler the free kick. The supporters of Heusweiler booed when Schalke 04 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kilian Bogner didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Schalke 04's Mike Misenta got a free kick in the 97th minute. Heusweiler's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
