Marc Schroth recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Apollo Appel succeeded in the game's 18th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. Golo Römer who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 21stth minute tested the skills of Willibald Grassow when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Golo Römers short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Willibald Grassow to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Golo Römer might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Willibald Grassow. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Golo Römer ran back to his position shaking his head. When Billstedter SV's Marc Schroth in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Unterreit's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Billstedter SV the free kick. Golo Römer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Willibald Grassow having to interfere.

When Billstedter SV's Marc Schroth in the 51st minute got a chance for a shot 51st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Unterreit's goalie prevented a goal. Willibald Grassow took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Golo Römer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 82nd play minutes Golo Römer shot 5-1, a short shot which went by Willibald Grassow and just under the crossbar into goal. After having played for 86 minutes, Golo Römer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Billstedter SV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Golo Römer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marc Schroth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Billstedter SV fully deserved thier win.
