Spectators: 6733 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1733, VIP seats: 0) Jackenhof's Markus Rebe started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thomas Schnappauf got free with Hansel Knop in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Markus Rebe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Govelin's Till Mieth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Markus Rebe in the 13th minute of play. Till Mieth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Markus Rebe in the 15th minute of the match. In the 17th minute Markus Rebe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Till Mieth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hansel Knop came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Govelin's Thomas Schnappauf. But to his dismay, Thomas Schnappauf quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 25th minute, Thomas Schnappauf left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Govelin fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Till Mieth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Markus Rebe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 34 played minutes Govelin got a freekick which was hit by Rudi Uedickoven. After 35 played minutes, Jackenhof's Ulli Blind shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Till Mieth came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Jackenhof reached it. 36 minutes into the game, Jackenhof's Adnan Dehnenkamp nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Till Mieth made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 47thth minute of the game Adnan Dehnenkamp who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Govelin's Till Mieth was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Till Mieth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Markus Rebe in the 60th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Jackenhof's Uwe Grieshaber got a free kick in the 62nd minute. If Efraim Caspers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Jackenhof getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Kjeld Schnurr hit a great ball. In the 72nd match minute, Govelin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yildiz Hildebrand to maneuver through the defense. Ulli Blind took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 73rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Till Mieth. Govelin's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Rudi Uedickoven kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Adnan Dehnenkamp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 79 minutes into the match, Govelin's goal looked a bit too open when Markus Rebe came free, but Till Mieth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Markus Rebes short, quick shot in the 84thth minute got Till Mieth to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 87th minute, Adnan Dehnenkamp made a precise shot to the right of Till Mieth. Govelin's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Markus Rebe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jackenhof's supporters rose to their feet, but Markus Rebe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Till Mieth breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Govelin fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Jackenhof were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
