Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Otto Thorbrügge took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Govelin's goalkeeper Till Mieth, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 5th minute Maurizio Reimann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopold Schikaneder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 6 minutes into the match, FC Weitefeld's goal looked a bit too open when Efraim Caspers came free, but Leopold Schikaneder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leopold Schikaneder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rudi Uedickoven in the 7th minute of play. FC Weitefeld's Leopold Schikaneder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maurizio Reimann in the 10th minute of play. Otto Thorbrügge recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ramon Mersmann charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ramon Mersmann the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ramon Mersmann kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Maurizio Reimann scored 0-1 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leopold Schikaneder, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Leopold Schikaneder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rudi Uedickoven, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute, Thomas Schnappauf made a precise shot to the right of Leopold Schikaneder. FC Weitefeld's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Leopold Schikaneder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Efraim Caspers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A wasted opportunity for Govelin. 39 minutes into the game, Efraim Caspers cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Leopold Schikaneder was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 44 minutes, Otto Thorbrügge managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Weitefeld's supporters crossed their fingers, but Otto Thorbrügge was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Erik Adler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Efraim Caspers to strike the kick off in the second half. FC Weitefeld's Erik Adler got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Erik Adler's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Till Mieth read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. In the 56th minute Otto Thorbrügge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Till Mieth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bruno Rüdiger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Maurizio Reimann hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Maurizio Reimann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leopold Schikaneder having to interfere. Thomas Schnappauf could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Leopold Schikaneder made a huge save. Leopold Schikaneder was a little too slow when Maurizio Reimann got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 86th minute. The score was now 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Rüdiger in the 92nd minute of play forced Govelin's goalkeeper Till Mieth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Bruno Rüdiger came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the FC Weitefeld fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bruno Rüdiger couldn't finish the play. When Otto Thorbrügge came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the FC Weitefeld fans jumped to their feet.
