In the 29th minute, Ali Ebbenga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Max Mistol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harold Frentzen in the 32nd minute of play. Tilmann Rostock blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Max Mistol having to make a save. Ennio Strengmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidor Heising in the 39th minute of the match. In the 43rd minute, Billstedter SV's Isidor Heising ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ennio Strengmann. Ennio Strengmann yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0.

With 51 minutes on the clock, Ivar Ralf commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Ivar Ralf kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. But to his dismay, Golo Römer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Billstedter SV had won after a very even match.
