Wilhelm Kronimus dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 10th minute, Benny Hubert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Steven Wicklein showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timo Warschau in the 19th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 22 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Josef Schmalacker sped through TSV Brunsbüttel's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Wilhelm Kronimus. PK Hamburg's Achim Butzer got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 32nd minute Carl Hopmeier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilhelm Kronimus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Josef Schmalacker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilhelm Kronimus having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Immanuel Berz managed to get in a good position for a shot. PK Hamburg's supporters rose to their feet, but Immanuel Berz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilhelm Kronimus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Josef Schmalacker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Achim Butzer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Wilhelm Kronimus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. TSV Brunsbüttel's Wilhelm Kronimus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save TSV Brunsbüttel from getting a goal against them. Immanuel Berz struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Wilhelm Kronimus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PK Hamburg. Ferit Rennert hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After 47 played minutes PK Hamburg got a freekick which was hit by Till Erkiner.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Achim Butzer made a kick off. Wilhelm Kronimus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carl Hopmeier, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Josef Schmalacker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Carl Hopmeier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. TSV Brunsbüttel's Wilhelm Kronimus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Achim Butzer in the 66th minute of play. Wilhelm Kronimus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jürgen Kantel in the 71st minute of play. Ferit Rennert hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Wilhelm Kronimus stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Achim Butzer's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Achim Butzer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Wilhelm Kronimus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Achim Butzer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 83rd minute, Achim Butzer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Steven Wicklein made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Timo Warschau sent off a good shot on target. Immanuel Berz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benny Hubert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Steven Wicklein having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Rouven Dams could shoot a difficult shot in the 92nd minute, which Steven Wicklein however easily saved by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ferit Rennert got free with Steven Wicklein in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 97th minute Benny Hubert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Steven Wicklein saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. PK Hamburg's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
