Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Frans Gerdes got the match started through his kick off. In the 5thth minute of the game Ezzo Kraft who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Schnolli's Eugen Rille was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in FC Schnolli's zone, Ezzo Kraft stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eugen Rille came out of the goal and Ezzo Kraft tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jochen Wedig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Eugen Rille tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Livio Plotkowiak came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Schnolli's Frans Gerdes. But to his dismay, Frans Gerdes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 20th minute, Ludo Gers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jochen Wedig's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 31stth minute, Eugen Rille skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Jochen Wedig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugen Rille having to interfere. FC Schnolli's Eugen Rille played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ezzo Kraft in the 35th minute of play. If Ezzo Kraft had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, FC Schnolli's Eugen Rille got control of the ball when Jochen Wedig tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Helmut Behnisch fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Schnolli's protests and gave Helmut Behnisch a yellow card for diving instead. In the 39th minute, Helmut Behnisch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

In the 51st match minute, FC Schnolli was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Helmut Behnisch to maneuver through the defense. If Jochen Wedig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ezzo Kraft received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Eugen Rille tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eugen Rille made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jochen Wedig in the 56th minute of play. Ezzo Kraft received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jochen Wedig couldn't finish the play. FC Schnolli's Eugen Rille played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ezzo Kraft in the 67th minute of play. Jochen Wedig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jochen Wedig's late challenge caught a FC Schnolli's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jochen Wedig helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Elmendorf FSV's Jochen Wedig got a free kick in the 75th minute. Ezzo Kraft sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ezzo Kraft in the 79th minute of play forced FC Schnolli's goalkeeper Eugen Rille to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Jochen Wedig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eugen Rille stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ezzo Kraft's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Eugen Rille made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jochen Wedig in the 86th minute of play. Eugen Rille came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Elmendorf FSV's Jochen Wedig. But to his dismay, Jochen Wedig quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Jorn Höhn kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Elmendorf FSV's Jochen Wedig got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Elmendorf FSV players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
