Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) FC Ormont's Rainer Hollinghausen started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jimmy Kasparick in the 4thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ferit Petzolt, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Jimmy Kasparick could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Ferit Petzolt made a huge save. Ferit Petzolt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Levan Dirks's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. In the 12th minute, Eckehard Dupke ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julian Falk was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. If Rainer Hollinghausen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 20 minutes, Immanuel Steinbrück mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sommertshausen FSV and the FC Ormont players grew even worse after the yellow card. Wolf Bock didn't quite understand what happened when in the 22 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Eckehard Dupke blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julian Falk having to make a save. Ferit Petzolt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jimmy Kasparick in the 37th minute. If Levan Dirks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Levan Dirks in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ferit Petzolt saved FC Ormont from getting behind. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Eckehard Dupke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Malte Jank's late challenge caught a FC Ormont's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Malte Jank helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Sommertshausen FSV getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Malte Jank hit a great ball. Eckehard Dupke could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Julian Falk made a huge save. Hubertus Paziorek charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hubertus Paziorek the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 55 played minutes FC Ormont got a freekick which was hit by Hubertus Paziorek. When Jimmy Kasparick came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Sommertshausen FSV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jimmy Kasparick couldn't finish the play. Levan Dirks fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferit Petzolt having to interfere. Levan Dirks succeeded in the game's 65th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. In the 78th minute, Levan Dirks ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ferit Petzolt was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. 81 minutes into the game, one of FC Ormont:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Sommertshausen FSV a penalty, 83 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Eberhard Pick, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FC Ormont's Ferit Petzolt. 3-1. Ferit Petzolt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Levan Dirks's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Ferit Petzolt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jimmy Kasparick, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Levan Dirks sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ferit Petzolt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Geisberger, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Jimmy Kasparick received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Ferit Petzolt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Sommertshausen FSV fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC Ormont had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
